Resumo: In this article, we intend to carry out a comparative analysis between the management of prison labor in the states of Pará and Amazonas, from the perspective of the concept of Decent Work. The research aims to answer what are the differences between the management of the workforce in the state of Pará and in Amazonas regarding the guarantee of minimum rights in favor of the dignity of the human person. Finally, the research concludes that both the management of the workforce of those incarcerated in the state of Pará and in the state of Amazonas are still parsimonious in guaranteeing the minimum rights necessary to ensure work in conditions that respect the dignity of the human person. For that, the hypothetical-deductive method will be used, with a documental and bibliographic analysis and a qualitative approach to the themes.

For that, the hypothetical-deductive method will be used, with a documental and bibliographic analysis and a qualitative approach to the themes.  Neste artigo, pretende-se realizar uma análise comparativa entre a gestão de mão de obra prisional nos estados do Pará e Amazonas, sob a ótica do conceito de Trabalho Decente. A pesquisa visa responder quais as diferenças entre a gestão da mão de obra no estado do Pará e no Amazonas no que concerne à garantia dos direitos mínimos em prol da dignidade da pessoa humana. Por fim, a pesquisa conclui que que tanto a gestão da mão de obra dos encarcerados no estado do Pará, como no estado do Amazonas ainda são parcimoniosas na garantia dos direitos mínimos necessários a assegurar o trabalho em condições que respeitem a dignidade da pessoa humana.
