THE CONTENT ANALYSIS TECHNIQUE IN QUALITATIVE RESEARCH: continuing education practices for pedagogical coordinators in the municipality of Cordeiros-Bahia

In this article we intend to highlight the technique of Content Analysis that we used to analyze data from the qualitative research “continuous training practices for coordinators in the municipality of Cordeiros-Bahia”. As the investigation requires a robust path for the researcher to succeed in obtaining the answers to his questions and in the search to achieve the proposed objectives, we feel the need to start this work by exposing the type of investigation and its structure to Comprehension of the investigative process and so we describe the path we take to analyze the data. As a theoretical contribution, we support the writings of Amado (2017), Creswell (2010), Crusoé (2014), Bardin (2011), Bogdan and Biklin (1994), Gil (2002), Lakatos and Marcone (2010), Martins and Bicudo (1994), Minayo (1994, 2001 and 2002) and Triviños (1987). The results indicate that content Analysis is configured as a methodology that follows a specific organization that allows the researcher an  step by step (path) to follow to carry out his investigation. Furthermore, it was possible to perceive that this technique produces significant results in investigations with a qualitative approach, in the field of social sciences.
