Resumo: The concept of the present research was constructed from a concern raised by the discipline School Education and Diversity, offered by the Graduate Program in Education at the State University of Maringá (PPE/UEM), after a discussion about the essay theme from the UEM's admission exam, held in 2021, with the title: "Racism in question in Brazil: white privileges in current discussions". So, this analysis intends to discuss the concept of whiteness and the types of privileges that can be obtained because of it. To reach the proposed objective, we used bibliographical research. We verified the complexity of the concept of whiteness and how it is possible to acquire privileges because of it. We also highlighted the relevance of the course taken by promoting debate about an inclusive education, which respects and values diversity.

We also highlighted the relevance of the course taken by promoting debate about an inclusive education, which respects and values diversity.La presente investigación surgió de la inquietud que suscita la disciplina Educación Escolar y Diversidad, que ofrece el Programa de Posgrado en Educación, de la Universidad Estadual de Maringá (PPE/UEM), luego de discutir el tema de la redacción del examen de ingreso a la UEM, realizado en 2021, con el título: “El racismo en cuestión en Brasil: privilegios blancos en discusiones actuales”. Así, este análisis pretende discutir el concepto de blanquitud y los tipos de privilegios que es posible obtener como resultado. Para alcanzar el objetivo propuesto, se utilizó la investigación bibliográfica. Verificamos la complejidad del concepto de blancura y hasta qué punto es posible adquirir privilegios por esta razón. También destacamos la relevancia del tema estudiado para promover el debate sobre una educación inclusiva, que respete y valore la diversidad.A presente investigação surgiu a partir da inquietação provocada pela disciplina Educação Escolar e Diversidade, ofertada pelo Programa de Pós-graduação em Educação, da Universidade Estadual de Maringá (PPE/UEM), após discutirmos sobre o tema da redação do vestibular da UEM, realizado no ano de 2021, com o título: “O racismo em questão no Brasil: privilégios brancos em discussões atuais”. Assim, esta análise pretende discutir o conceito de branquitude e os tipos de privilégios que é possível obter em razão disso. Para alçar o objetivo proposto, nos utilizamos da pesquisa bibliográfica. Verificamos a complexidade do conceito de branquitude e o quanto é possível adquirir privilégios por esse motivo.
