The objective of this work is to study the arrangement between tradition and technology in tallow in the city of Belém; seeking to analyze the impact of the use of media and social networks in the tallow trade, as well as the influence of the digital book on the activities of these places. The research is quantitative of the exploratory type, used as an instrument of data collection the application of forms and interviews with local Sebos that work in physical establishments and online, in addition to bibliographic review for conceptualization of terms. The study expects to analyze the positive and negative aspects of the use of social media for the book trade in bookstores in Belém / PA, for example, the influence on sales, as the contact with the public occurs, in the absence of a physical establishment as the organization and storage of the collection occurs. In addition, observe from the point of view of the owners the impact that the commercialization of digital books may have caused, or that it may cause.
