The democratization of literature and its dissemination has always been one of the main challenges faced in Brazil. With the lack of politicians to bring books and knowledge to all interests, in recent years we have seen the country stabilize in a reading average below the ideal, with no forecast of improvements. Bearing this in mind and understanding the importance of literature for society in all areas, be it cultural, social and economic, it was necessary to study this phenomenon that increasingly distances the individual from this activity and understand how Design can work together to solve this problem. This, together with the need to assimilate the reason why the Centro neighborhood of the city of Uberlândia is increasingly being left aside by the public and how it could stop this event due to the sociocultural value for the city, made this present work seek to develop means to combat both evils. Through the redesign of Sebo Maravilha, located on Avenida Floriano Peixoto - Centro, this project aims to develop a comfortable environment by encouraging literature that will make more people return to the city center as a form of leisure.
