Resumo: In the present work, it is proposed to analyze whether the ideal of subaltern counterpublicity structured by Fraser (1993) has emancipatory potential to structure a response to subalternization, such as the non-recognition of rights, experienced by trans subjects in the Brazilian scenario. In order to do so, based on the bibliographic review of a narrative nature, fundamentally on Fraser's assumptions (1993; 2007, 2009a; 2009b), a brief study of the structuring of the trans movement in Brazil was initially carried out, and then, the ideal of subaltern counterpublicity was diagnosed, as well as the potential of this ideal to reflect an emancipatory response to the subalternities experienced by trans subjects. Finally, it is believed that when reflecting the ideal of subaltern counterpublicity, critical reflections on the equal participation of trans subjects are possible, as well as emancipatory responses to subalternities, such as the non-recognition of rights, experienced by these subjects in the context Brazilian.
