Resumo: | This work presents a report on the resolution of auto systems by the Division and Conquest Method, through an approach involving the historical context as evidence of the divide-and-conquer technique use. Afterward, we present a study demonstrating the utilization of eigenvalues and eigenvectors in the power flow problem to determine voltage control areas using a pilot bar (a division of the total system into small eigensystems). The work involves the need to use eigenproblems to solve problems in real situations. This analysis is due to the issue related to reactive power control in power systems, where there is a need to predict episodes involving voltage instability phenomena. Thus, schemes are created that can control instability zones in an area, thus demonstrating the practical (actual) use of the idea of eigenvectors in Electrical Engineering problems. |

Universidade Federal do Rio Grande2021-10-20info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.furg.br/vetor/article/view/2735VETOR - Journal of Exact Sciences and Engineering; Vol. 28 No. 1-2 (2018); 31-42VETOR - Revista de Ciências Exatas e Engenharias; v. 28 n. 1-2 (2018); 31-422358-34520102-7352reponame:Vetor (Online)instname:Universidade Federal do Rio Grande (FURG)instacron:FURGporhttps://periodicos.furg.br/vetor/article/view/2735/9042Copyright (c) 2021 VETOR - Revista de Ciências Exatas e Engenhariasinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessPaula, Marlúbia Corrêa deViali, LoriRizzon, Eliamar Ceresoli2021-10-20T21:11:42Zoai:periodicos.furg.br:article/2735Revistahttps://periodicos.furg.br/vetorPUBhttps://periodicos.furg.br/vetor/oaigmplatt@furg.br2358-34520102-7352opendoar:2021-10-20T21:11:42Vetor (Online) - Universidade Federal do Rio Grande (FURG)false |
