Resumo: | Felipe Guaman Poma de Ayala (1526?-1615) is the Andean author of Nueva Crônica e buen gobierno, a text that reproduces, among other things, the critical process of identity from historical events of the Americas beginning in the 16th century. The chronicle involves an interdiscourse between the oral tradition of the maternal language and literality in a second language, but has recourse to the Andean iconographical tradition as part of the conflicts of this identity. Quite aware of the irreversibility of the changes that Andean societies have undergone, the Indian chronicler decided to write what he knew ‘de oidas,’ in the manner of an ethnographer, compiling what he read in the Spanish chronicles and recording his own witnessing of the events and their historical antecedents. The written text is accompanied by drawings that illustrate what gives a special iconographic character to the document. |

Universidade Federal Fluminense2007-06-30info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionAvaliado pelos paresapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.uff.br/gragoata/article/view/33204Gragoatá; Vol. 12 No. 22 (2007): Latin-American relations: language and literatureGragoatá; v. 12 n. 22 (2007): Relações latino-americanas: língua e literatura2358-41141413-9073reponame:Gragoatáinstname:Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF)instacron:UFFporhttps://periodicos.uff.br/gragoata/article/view/33204/19191Copyright (c) 2019 Gragoatáinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessLagorio, Consuelo Alfaro2020-08-18T23:31:06Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/33204Revistahttps://periodicos.uff.br/gragoataPUBhttps://periodicos.uff.br/gragoata/oai||revistagragoata@gmail.com2358-41141413-9073opendoar:2020-08-18T23:31:06Gragoatá - Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF)false |
