Resumo: The analysis developed in this work focuses on the study of cooperation networks business, and a case study of the Redefort in the municipality of Rio Grande. The aim is to identify the problems of coordination that affect the functioning and performance of Redefort. The method that characterizes the work is a study of qualitative and descriptive character, developed from data collected through a roadmap of semi-structured applied to businessmen linked to Redefort. Based on this survey data were identified five types of problems of coordination: differences in the mix of regional products; size of the stores involved; predictability of trading; problem and Principal Officer, and effective participation and involvement in Redefort. The paper describes each of the identified problems of coordination as well as its causes and consequences for the Redefort and the associated companies.

O objetivo do estudo é identificar os problemas de coordenação que afetam o funcionamento e o desempenho da Redefort. O método que caracteriza o trabalho é um estudo de caráter qualitativo e descritivo, desenvolvido a partir de dados coletados por meio de um roteiro de entrevista semi-estruturada aplicada aos empresários associados à Redefort. Com base nesse levantamento de dados foram identificados cinco tipos de problemas de coordenação: diferenças no mix de produtos regional, tamanho das lojas associadas, previsibilidade da negociação, problema Agente e Principal e participação e envolvimento efetivo na Redefort.
