Innovation discourses in theses and dissertations on Environmental Education with a focus on teaching Biology and Physics

Resumo: In this research, we analyze the meanings constructed and associated with the term innovation in Environmental Education thesis and dissertations linked to the teaching areas of Biology and Physics, defended in the period from 1981 to 2012, approaching studies “state-of-art” type and the Polyphonic Theory Enunciation of Oswald Ducrot (1987). From the analyzes we built two Enunciation Contexts associated with the notion of innovation, namely: criticism of the teaching model called “traditional” and educational strategies or teaching methodologies. We observed some recurring discourses, such as the understanding of innovation as a possible form of redemption of the educational process from the association between this notion and the improvement in the teaching-learning process, as well as the development of alternative proposals such as the development of Projects, of Learning Units and initiatives from an interdisciplinary perspective.

De los análisis, construimos dos Contextos de Enunciación asociados a la noción de innovación, a saber: la crítica al modelo de enseñanza denominado “tradicional” y las estrategias educativas o metodologías de enseñanza. Observamos algunos discursos recurrentes, como la comprensión de la innovación como una posible "redención" del proceso educativo a partir de la asociación entre esta noción y la mejora en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, así como el desarrollo de propuestas alternativas como el desarrollo de Proyectos, de Unidades de Aprendizaje e iniciativas desde una perspectiva interdisciplinar.Nesse trabalho analisamos os sentidos construídos e associados ao termo “inovação” em teses e dissertações de Educação Ambiental vinculadas às áreas de ensino de Biologia e Física, defendidas entre 1981 e 2012, nos aproximando de estudos do tipo “estado da arte” e da Teoria Polifônica da Enunciação de Ducrot (1987). A partir desta análise construímos dois Contextos de Enunciação relacionados ao termo “inovação”, sendo eles: críticas ao modelo de ensino chamado de “tradicional” e estratégias educacionais ou metodologias de ensino.
