Resumo: This study aimed to determine the germination temperature and conservation potential of diaspores from the native species with ornamental potential: Cunila galioides Benth., Jungia fl oribunda Less., Pterolepis repanda (DC) Triana and Senecio brasiliensis (Spreng.) Less. The species were tested at 15, 20, 25 and 30°C. Two environments and two types of packages (Kraft® paper and polyethylene bags) for six months were evaluated for storage. The indicated temperatures for germination were 26°C for Cunila galioides, 23°C for Jungia fl oribunda, and 25 °C for Senecio brasiliensis and Pterolepis repanda. Cunila galioides and Pterolepis repanda can be stored for six months in a dry chamber or in a refrigerator in both packages. Jungia fl oribunda can be stored for up to four months in the refrigerator in both packages, and Senecio brasiliensis can be stored for six months in the dry chamber in Kraft® package, or in refrigeration in both Kraft® and polyethylene bags.

Less. Iheringia.
