O artigo se propõe a discutir e refletir sobre as representações das novas configurações familiares na telenovela. Como objeto de estudo foi escolhida a telenovela Amor à Vida (2013) da Rede Globo de Televisão. Como procedimento metodológico foi utilizada a Análise de Conteúdo proposta por Bardin (2011), a fim de analisar três sequências com a presença do personagem Félix. Foi percebido que a sua orientação sexual influenciou a formação de uma nova configuração familiar. Nesse sentido, a telenovela contribuiu para discutir as diferentes formas das relações familiares, referenciando as mudanças dos padrões sociais e familiares da sociedade contemporânea.Palavras-chave: Identidade. As the object of study the telenovela “Amor à Vida” (2013) of Globo TV was chosen. As a methodological procedure was used content analysis proposed by Bardin (2011), to analyze three sequences with the character Félix, as his sexual orientation is perceived as an influencer on the formation of a new family configuration. In this sense, the telenovela contributed to discuss the different forms of family relationships, reflecting the changes in social patterns and family in contemporary society.Keywords: Identity.
