Resumo: This paper presents some of Nietzsche’s ideas on language and emphasizes his use of the metaphor to destabilize concepts. The metaphorical language reveals that the nature of knowledge is closer to interpretation than to explanation. Language is seen by Nietzsche no longer as a tool well-aimed to the achievement of truth but rather as the evidence of the very impossibility of such task.
