The present study addresses cases of veterinary medical errors in different areas of activity and unfavorable decisions, according to a search on the website of the São Paulo Court of Justice (TJSP), concerning the topics of "Veterinary Medical Error", "Forensic Expert", "Civil Liability", "Provision of Services", which occurred in the years 2018 to 2021. Its purpose is to apprehend the main gaps and ramifications resulting from the failure to use the services of judicial experts and veterinary medical technical assistants to guide judgments, with a view to the substantial resolution of judicial cases on a scientific basis, whose notorious training on the subject is an essential basis for supporting expert evidence.
