Resumo: The new challenge for the management of pharmaceutical care is caused by the phenomenon of Judicialization of Health, which has been demanding a differentiated analysis from managers, in order to respond to court orders, avoid the growth of new demands, as well as preserve the principles and guidelines of the System Single Health. The objective was to analyze the profile of court orders for the supply of medicines filed with the courts against public agents in the Municipality of Vargem Grande do Sul, in the years 2010 and 2016. The data were collected through proceedings judged in the first instance, which had the decision already rendered at the time of consultation. The variables analyzed in the processes were related to the process, the author of the sentence, the doctor who prescribed it and the requested treatment. 35 cases were analyzed and it was found that 63% of users are female, all cases had a writ of mandamus as the type of action, 57% were represented by public defenders, with 54% of the defendants being the municipality and the state. It was evidenced that 23% of these lawsuits took place in 2015, 74% of the prescribers of the actions were private physicians and 69% of these requested medicines were not included in the Municipal List of Essential Medicines (REMUME). The study made it possible to highlight the effects that these decisions have on public policies, the distortions that this phenomenon causes and the economic impact that this practice can cause.

Specialized Dentistry Group2023-05-18info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/article/view/25410.36557/2674-8169.2023v5n2p191-211Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; Vol. 5 No. 2 (2023): BJIHS Qualis B3; 191-211Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; Vol. 5 Núm. 2 (2023): BJIHS Qualis B3; 191-211Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; v. 5 n. 2 (2023): BJIHS Qualis B3; 191-2112674-8169reponame:Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciencesinstname:Grupo de Odontologia Especializada (GOE)instacron:GOEporhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/article/view/254/337Copyright (c) 2023 Muriely Thayane Pereira da Silva, Gabriel Aparecido de Carvalho, Danyelle Cristine Marinihttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessPereira da Silva, Muriely ThayaneAparecido de Carvalho, GabrielMarini, Danyelle Cristine2023-05-18T13:41:12Zoai:ojs.bjihs.emnuvens.com.br:article/254Revistahttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihsONGhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/oaijournal.bjihs@periodicosbrasil.com.br2674-81692674-8169opendoar:2023-05-18T13:41:12Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences - Grupo de Odontologia Especializada (GOE)false
