Resumo: | Glycemic control in primary care is essential for the effective management of diabetes mellitus. In Basic Health Units (UBS), the evaluation of practices and results is fundamental to ensure the quality of care provided to patients. Early detection, appropriate treatment, and promotion of lifestyle changes are key elements in preventing complications related to hyperglycemia. Challenges such as patients' lack of adherence to treatment and social and cultural barriers require a patient-centered approach and ongoing training for healthcare professionals. The integration of multidisciplinary teams and the use of innovative technologies are also important to improve glycemic control outcomes. |

Specialized Dentistry Group2024-03-24info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/article/view/173610.36557/2674-8169.2024v6n3p2165-2176Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; Vol. 6 No. 3 (2024): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 2165-2176Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; Vol. 6 Núm. 3 (2024): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 2165-2176Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; v. 6 n. 3 (2024): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 2165-21762674-8169reponame:Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciencesinstname:Grupo de Odontologia Especializada (GOE)instacron:GOEporhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/article/view/1736/1948Copyright (c) 2024 Thaylla Ribeiro Lima , Pedro Henrique Paes Alves, Pedro Victor Alves Castro , Ary Aragão Cabral Vieira , João Matheus Braga de Oliveira , Amanda Joana Maito , Marília Lorena Sousa Carvalho , André Barros Macêdo , Camila Maria de Sousa Lopes , Vytoria Rodrigues Moura , Nathalia Nadiak Calil , Giovanna Nadiak Calil , Heloísa Faltz Pimentel https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess Lima , Thaylla Ribeiro Alves, Pedro Henrique Paes Castro , Pedro Victor AlvesVieira , Ary Aragão CabralOliveira , João Matheus Braga deMaito , Amanda JoanaCarvalho , Marília Lorena SousaMacêdo , André Barros Lopes , Camila Maria de SousaMoura , Vytoria RodriguesCalil , Nathalia NadiakCalil , Giovanna NadiakPimentel , Heloísa Faltz2024-03-24T19:59:15Zoai:ojs.bjihs.emnuvens.com.br:article/1736Revistahttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihsONGhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/oaijournal.bjihs@periodicosbrasil.com.br2674-81692674-8169opendoar:2024-03-24T19:59:15Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences - Grupo de Odontologia Especializada (GOE)false |
