Resumo: | The rehabilitation of critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) requires a multidisciplinary approach, bringing together intensivist physicians, physiotherapists, nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists. This collaboration is essential to provide holistic care, going beyond medical treatment. Coordination led by intensivist physicians, along with physiotherapists, nurses, and mental health professionals, plays a crucial role in early mobilization, preserving muscle and respiratory function, psychosocial assessment, and patient reintegration. Effective communication among these professionals is vital to optimize outcomes, reduce complications, and improve the patient's quality of life. This integrated approach not only enhances the patient experience but also reduces ICU stay duration, lowers mortality rates, and promotes quicker recovery post-discharge. The combined efforts of the multidisciplinary team highlight the importance of a holistic approach, integrating psychological, spiritual, and familial aspects. Efficient communication humanizes care and prevents hospital errors. Collaboration among healthcare professionals, focusing on a multidisciplinary approach, is crucial to providing a comprehensive and high-quality care plan for critically ill patients in the ICU, representing a significant advancement in healthcare services for this group. |

A comunicação eficiente humaniza o cuidado e evita erros hospitalares. Specialized Dentistry Group2024-01-04info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/article/view/119510.36557/2674-8169.2024v6n1p174-183Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; Vol. 6 No. 1 (2024): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 174-183Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; Vol. 6 Núm. 1 (2024): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 174-183Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; v. 6 n. 1 (2024): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 174-1832674-8169reponame:Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciencesinstname:Grupo de Odontologia Especializada (GOE)instacron:GOEporhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/article/view/1195/1364Copyright (c) 2024 Kamilla Victória Bastos Lima Chagas, Eriselma Alves Correia, Pablo Ryan Galvão Farinha, Talita Souza Rocha , Graziele Coêlho Nascimento, Bruna Peixinho Souza, Jande Cleyson Batista Alves, Leila Maria Cintra da Cunha Sampaio Oliveira , Rafaela Flores Romanini , Bárbara Cristina Sousa da Silva , Marcos Vinicius Costa Lima, Maria Liberdade de Oliveira Vicentehttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessChagas, Kamilla Victória Bastos LimaCorreia, Eriselma AlvesFarinha, Pablo Ryan GalvãoRocha , Talita SouzaNascimento, Graziele CoêlhoSouza, Bruna PeixinhoAlves, Jande Cleyson BatistaOliveira , Leila Maria Cintra da Cunha SampaioRomanini , Rafaela Flores Silva , Bárbara Cristina Sousa daLima, Marcos Vinicius CostaVicente, Maria Liberdade de Oliveira2024-01-04T23:16:33Zoai:ojs.bjihs.emnuvens.com.br:article/1195Revistahttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihsONGhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/oaijournal.bjihs@periodicosbrasil.com.br2674-81692674-8169opendoar:2024-01-04T23:16:33Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences - Grupo de Odontologia Especializada (GOE)false |
