Suicide prevention is a complex challenge that requires a multifaceted approach, encompassing various fields of mental health. This article aims to explore and analyze Therapeutic Approaches in Suicide Prevention, with a special focus on Evidence-Based Strategies. Worldwide, suicide rates have been increasing, representing a serious public health concern. In this context, it is imperative to understand and implement effective therapeutic approaches to reduce the devastating impact of suicide on individuals, families, and communities. The intrinsic complexity of the suicidal phenomenon demands interventions that go beyond traditional approaches. In this context, evidence-based therapeutic strategies emerge as a fundamental pillar in promoting mental health and preventing suicide. Understanding the effectiveness of these approaches is crucial to inform clinical practices, treatment guidelines, and mental health policies that can be implemented at individual, community, and societal levels.   By revisiting the literature and analyzing the latest scientific findings, this article aims not only to clarify existing therapeutic approaches but also to shed light on knowledge gaps and areas that require further in-depth research. Furthermore, in addressing the theme of evidence-based strategies, we seek to provide a critical and practical perspective on how these approaches can be effectively integrated into mental health care, aiming at suicide prevention. Ultimately, this study aspires to contribute to advancing understanding and practice in the field of suicide prevention by promoting effective and patient-centered therapeutic approaches. Evidence-based strategies are analyzed in-depth, considering psychotherapeutic, pharmacological, and other therapeutic interventions. This critical review highlights the latest findings and offers valuable insights into how the medical community and mental health professionals can enhance their practices to address this complex challenge.
