This in-depth study aims to meticulously examine the management of asthma in children, focusing on an integrative review of predominant treatments. Pediatric asthma, owing to its unique characteristics and the dynamism of childhood development, presents specific challenges that necessitate a comprehensive and multifaceted analysis of available therapeutic options. The review not only highlights the variety of pharmacological interventions but also delves into the realm of non-pharmacological therapies, recognizing that an effective approach often extends beyond the isolated use of medications. Within the pharmacological scope, the analysis explores distinct classes of medications, assessing their relative efficacies, safety considerations, and potential specific side effects in asthmatic children. Simultaneously, non-pharmacological therapies such as lifestyle modifications, physical therapy, and psychosocial interventions are addressed, emphasizing the importance of a holistic approach that considers the patient as a whole.
