Resumo: | Objective to evaluate, according to the perception of users who were hospitalized in the ICU, whether or not the National Humanization Policy PNH is implemented in the reality of the study. The formulation of the research question was structured based on the PVO strategy (acronym for population; variable and outcome), with the PNH being the studied context, through the users' perceptions. For the theoretical foundation, a bibliographical research was carried out of articles published between 2004 and 2022, available in the databases, SciELO, PePSIC and BVSMS located through keywords where the descriptors were used: “Hospital Psychology”, “Humanization”, and “ Intensive care unit". It is concluded that in the hospital unit where the research was carried out, there is the implementation of the PNH, requiring few adjustments for total adequacy. Modifications to the practice of humanization with excellence require that hospital management instruct its employees and patients about their rights |
