Humanization of care in the Intensive Care Unit: integrative literature review

Resumo: | Intensive Care (ICU) is an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) where high-complexity equipment and a specialized multidisciplinary unit are located, where they are specialized in patients who require a serious health condition, but who have a chance of survival. Thus, the humanization policy (PNH), how to achieve goals in health services, the identification of health needs, appreciation of the user, workers and managers, within the ICU it is important that the practice of humanization of all patients, also needs that within the multidisciplinary team. The current study aims to show the practice of humanization of care in the ICU based on the scientific literature. This is an integrative literature review, carried out in February and March 2022 through electronics in the SciELO and Lilacs databases. The strategies allowed to identify 256 articles, applying the inclusion criteria, 244 were excluded, 12 articles were not selected because they met all the requirements. The results show that there are difficulties in the implementation of care, but despite this, professionals have a good perspective of approaching this perspective, effectively helping in the practice of effective strategies. Therefore, it is concluded that, despite the difficulties for the practice of such a policy, research shows the enormous benefits that the humanization of care for the patient within the intensive care unit, among them, the increase in suffering. |

Así, la política de humanización (PNH), cómo alcanzar las metas en los servicios de salud, la identificación de las necesidades de salud, la valoración del usuario, trabajadores y directivos, dentro de la UCI es importante que la práctica de la humanización de todos los pacientes, también necesita que dentro del equipo multidisciplinario. El presente estudio tiene como objetivo mostrar la práctica de la humanización del cuidado en la UTI a partir de la literatura científica. Esta es una revisión integradora de literatura, realizada en febrero y marzo de 2022 a través de medios electrónicos en las bases de datos SciELO y Lilacs. Las estrategias permitieron identificar 256 artículos, aplicando los criterios de inclusión, 244 fueron excluidos, 12 artículos no fueron seleccionados por cumplir con todos los requisitos. Los resultados muestran que existen dificultades en la implementación del cuidado, pero a pesar de eso, los profesionales tienen una buena perspectiva de abordar esa perspectiva, ayudando efectivamente en la práctica de estrategias efectivas. Por lo tanto, se concluye que, a pesar de las dificultades para la práctica de tal política, la investigación muestra los enormes beneficios que la humanización del cuidado del paciente dentro de la unidad de cuidados intensivos, entre ellos, el aumento del sufrimiento.A Unidade de Terapia Intensiva (UTI) é onde se encontram tecnologias de alta complexidade e uma equipe multidisciplinar especializada, onde são destinadas a pacientes que apresentam estado grave de saúde, mas que possuem chances de sobreviver. Assim, a política Nacional de Humanização (PNH), tem como objetivo alcançar nos serviços de saúde a identificação das necessidades de saúde, valorização do usuário, trabalhadores e dos gestores, dentro da UTI é importante que a prática de humanização vá além dos cuidados a todos os pacientes, precisa também que ocorra entre a própria equipe multidisciplinar. O atual estudo tem como finalidade mostrar a prática da humanização do cuidado na UTI com base na literatura científica. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa na literatura, realizada nos meses fevereiro e março de 2022 através de pesquisas eletrônicas nas bases de dados SciELO e Lilacs. As estratégias de buscas permitiram identificar 256 artigos, aplicando os critérios de inclusão, 244 foram excluídos, no total foram selecionados 12 artigos por atenderem todos os requisitos. Os resultados mostram que existem dificuldades na implementação do cuidado na UTI, mas que apesar disso os profissionais têm uma boa perspectiva acerca de tal política, ajudando de forma eficaz na prática das estratégias necessárias.
