Resumo: | Genetic syndromes (GS) are the result of changes in human genes. Each gene has its own characteristics. One of these special characteristics is congenital heart disease (CHD), which occurs in most genetic syndromes. When diagnosed early, the patient's recovery is better. Given this, questions arise about the effectiveness of treatments for congenital heart disease when associated with genetic syndromes. The purpose of this study is to review the literature on treatments for CC and highlight the effectiveness of these treatments for CC associated with genetic syndromes. This is an integrative literature review where data were collected in online databases, using the PICO strategy. Data analysis was carried out through systematic reading and analysis of articles, through which 6 refined articles were selected based on the study objectives and inclusion criteria. CC treatments have been shown to be very effective, with little difference in the success of surgical interventions between patients with and without GS. However, the biggest concern is in the post-operative period, where patients are prone to hospital infections, which in turn are the biggest cause of death for these patients. |

Specialized Dentistry Group2023-12-08info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/article/view/104610.36557/2674-8169.2023v5n5p4870-4886Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; Vol. 5 No. 5 (2023): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 4870-4886Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; Vol. 5 Núm. 5 (2023): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 4870-4886Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; v. 5 n. 5 (2023): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 4870-48862674-8169reponame:Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciencesinstname:Grupo de Odontologia Especializada (GOE)instacron:GOEporhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/article/view/1046/1170Copyright (c) 2023 Ayme Fuzi Kawagoe, Cinthia Ayumi Saito, Maria Eduarda de Sá Bonifácio Rocha, Thiago Ruam Nascimento, Diandra Cavalcante de Oliveira, Alladin Anderson Ramos Barbosa, Rebeca Baldo dos Santos, Bruna Eduarda Weirich, Thiago Martins de Abreu, Rafaela Barbosa da Silvahttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessKawagoe, Ayme FuziSaito, Cinthia AyumiRocha, Maria Eduarda de Sá BonifácioNascimento, Thiago RuamOliveira, Diandra Cavalcante deBarbosa, Alladin Anderson RamosSantos, Rebeca Baldo dosWeirich, Bruna EduardaAbreu, Thiago Martins deSilva, Rafaela Barbosa da2023-12-08T13:59:09Zoai:ojs.bjihs.emnuvens.com.br:article/1046Revistahttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihsONGhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/oaijournal.bjihs@periodicosbrasil.com.br2674-81692674-8169opendoar:2023-12-08T13:59:09Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences - Grupo de Odontologia Especializada (GOE)false |
