Resumo: Hepatic carcinosarcoma is a rare malignant tumor containing carcinomatous and sarcomatous components. The tumor presents an aggressive behavior and a poor prognosis. Surgery is still the only curative option and there is no well-established chemotherapy regimen. The reported case refers to a 40-year-old woman, treated in a Brazilian public health service, diagnosed with hepatic carcinosarcoma and undergoing surgical and chemotherapy treatment.
