Resumo: This article aims to characterize the epidemiological profile of syphilis in pregnant women in the northern region of Brazil between 2011 and 2021. A retrospective, quantitative and descriptive ecological epidemiological study was carried out using data collected from the Notifiable Diseases Information System (SINAN ), on the SUS Digital Database platform (DATASUS). A higher prevalence of syphilis was observed in pregnant women aged between 20 and 39 years and with incomplete primary education.
