Resumo: This article aims to analyze the main postpartum complications arising from hypertensive syndrome/hypertensive disorders during pregnancy. Integrative literature review carried out through a search in the Pubmed, Scielo and Google Scholar databases, with publication time limited between the years 2019 and 2023. After evaluation by 2 reviewers, duplicate texts or texts that were related to the topic were excluded. Studies have shown that Gestational Hypertensive Syndromes (GHS) are the most common complications during pregnancy and affect around 10% of pregnant women. Among these SHG, those of marked importance are pre-eclampsia, eclampsia and HELLP syndrome. It is concluded that SHG is a common occurrence in pregnancy, with the main complications of this syndrome being the strong correlation with preterm birth, low APGAR and the occurrence of newborns small for gestational age.
