Resumo: | In times when resources for education are increasingly scarce, creativity is fundamental in the development of frugal innovation, adaptable to the context of public schools. Thus, research that seeks to develop materials for practical activities with elementary school students appears as an excellent alternative. Moreover, the discussion about the teaching of basic life support in the school environment is of utmost importance, and in this context, we seek to encourage health education, suggesting improvements in this field and also a more effective work of information, accessible for periodic review. This work is part of the master's dissertation that aimed to elaborate material - didactic sequence, videos and mannequin - for teaching basic life support in the school environment, suitable for children in the 5th year of elementary school, in a multidisciplinary and practical perspective. The method used was an applied research, where the instruments were elaborated for further use by elementary school teachers, and then a field research was carried out, with the application of a questionnaire to the teachers, aiming to understand if the material produced meets the demand for the development of the proposed activity. The results point to a good receptivity of the didactic sequence by the teachers, and the material produced is sufficient for the development of the activity by the teacher in the school, even without previous knowledge in first aid. Thus, we can highlight the educational impact of the proposal, contributing to the improvement of health education in elementary schools. |

Thus, we can highlight the educational impact of the proposal, contributing to the improvement of health education in elementary schools.
