Resumo: Abstract We investigate how the theme of “culture” has been studied in Political Science and International Relations (PSIR) in Brazilian academia from 1990 to 2017. A “systematic literature review” was conducted, assessing 183 online articles. The data collected suggests differences between PS and IR, a lack of methodology, and some degree of causality between institutions, authors, and the research approach adopted in the articles.
