Research in Education: challenges in teacher training at the IFMT Campus Confresa

Resumo: The present work presents the results of a research that aimed to quantify and which subjects were investigated by the teachers in the research projects developed at the InstitutoFederal de Mato Grosso (IFMT) Campusof Confresa, todiscuss the importance of Research in Education in the training courses of teachers. Todo so, a survey was made of the projects approved by the Campus teachers in the institution's own notices. In 2010,the Campus was inaugurated and started offering two undergraduate courses and from 2015 on it became four courses for teacher training, however a course was in the process of extinction and there was no offer of new enrollments. After the survey of the projects, in the period from 2010 to 2015 it was verified that several research projects were developed, however, only a small portion focused on themes related to the area of Teachingor Education. In view of the results, it is urgent to discuss and train research groups geared towards the training of research teachers for the exercise of teaching.

In view of the results, it is urgent to discuss and train research groups geared towards the training of research teachers for the exercise of teaching.       O presente trabalho apresenta os resultados de uma pesquisa que objetivou quantificar quais as temáticas foram investigadas pelos professores nos projetos de pesquisa desenvolvidos no Instituto Federal de Mato Grosso (IFMT) Campus Confresa, a fim de discutir a importância da Pesquisa em Educação nos cursos de formação inicial de professores. Para tanto, buscou-se fazer um levantamento dos projetos aprovados pelos professores desse Campus em editais da própria instituição. Em 2010, o Campus foi inaugurado e iniciou a oferta de dois cursos de licenciaturas e a partir de 2015 passou a ser quatro cursos para formação de professores. No entanto, um curso estava em processo de extinção e não havia oferta de novas matrículas. Após o levantamento dos projetos, no período de 2010 a 2015, verificou-se que foram desenvolvidos vários projetos de pesquisas, entretanto, apenas uma pequena parcela voltada à temas relacionados a área de Ensino ou de Educação.
