Comparative analysis of master's programs in technological education within the framework of the Federal and State Centers of Technological Education and Federal Institutes of Education, Science and Technology of the Southeast Brazilian Region

Resumo: | The general objective of this research is to analyze comparatively the masters programs in technological education within the scope of Federal and State Centers of Technological Education and Federal Institutes of Education, Science and Technologylocated in the southeastern region of Brazil. The specific objectives are: to listthe areas of concentration and lines of research; To relate the compulsory and elective disciplines offered; Listing the profile of tied teachers with regard to: training; Lines of research in which they operate; Publications in indexed journals; Completed mastery guidelines; And highlight the strengths and opportunities for improvement of each program.The present research can be classified, based on its objectives, exploratory and descriptive. In addition, the study is classified as a bibliographic research. The analysis was carried out from the information of each program available in the corresponding institutional sites in the Internet, as well as in the proposals of the graduate programs, base year 2016, listed in the Sucupira Platform. The relevance of the theme and the contribution of the research to the area of knowledge in question are based on the possibility of making possible the creation of a database of good practices, as a result of the comparative analysis of the different postgraduate programs stricto sensu, associated to the theoretical reference consulted. |

Os objetivos específicos são: listar as áreas de concentração e linhas de pesquisa; relacionar as disciplinas obrigatórias e eletivas ofertadas; elencar o perfil dos docentes vinculados, no que tange a: formação; linhas de pesquisa em que atuam; publicações em periódicos indexados; orientações de mestrado concluídas; e evidenciar os pontos fortes e as oportunidades de melhoria de cada programa. A presente pesquisa pode ser classificada, com base em seus objetivos, em exploratória e descritiva. Adicionalmente, o estudo classifica-se como pesquisa bibliográfica. A análise foi empreendida a partir das informações de cada programa disponíveis nos correspondentes sítios institucionais na internet, bem como nas propostas dos programas de pós-graduação, ano-base 2016, elencadas na Plataforma Sucupira.
