EGIF – The experience of developing a mobile application for federal institutes graduates

Resumo: This article aims to discuss the educational and operational aspects of  developing a mobile application to assist    Integrated High School Graduates monitoring. The application is the result of an educational product. It emerged from the master's thesis that investigated the formative experience and the  world of work integration of graduates of the  technical courses integrated into high school of the Federal Institute of Piauí - Campus Picos. For the development of this application, it was carried out a qualitative research, using as a data collection instrument a semi-structured interview with 53 (fifty-three) graduates of the Integrated High School of Administration, Informatics and Electrotechnics who graduated from 2014  to 2019 at the IFPI Picos Campus. This article incorporated studies related to the development of mechanisms, tools, and instruments for monitoring graduates of high school technical professional education, more specifically, integrated  high school education. The analysis and interpretation of data was based on content analysis  according to Bardin’s proposals (2011). The research results  revealed that an application for mobile devices should be a tool for socializing training experiences and the  world of work, evaluating the educational institution, disseminating professional opportunities and activities developed   by  Campus Picos. The study concluded that investing in accessible and user-friendly applications  intended for cell phones, can  be one of the ways to encourage and facilitate  proximity between graduates, companies, and Training Institutions.

La aplicación resulta de un producto educativo, elaborado a partir de la disertación de maestría que investigó la experiencia formativa y la inserción en el mundo del trabajo de licenciados de los Cursos Técnicos Integrados al Enseño Enseño Medio del Instituto Federal de Piauí - Campus Picos. Para la construcción de este app se realizó una investigación cualitativa, utilizando como instrumento de recolección de datos una entrevista semiestructurada a 53 licenciados de la Escuela Superior Integrada de Administración, Informática y Electrotecnia que concluyeron la carrera en el período de 2014 y 2019 en el Campus IFPI-Picos. En este artículo incorporamos estudios relacionados con el desarrollo de mecanismos , herramientas e instrumentos para el acompañamento de los licenciados de la educación media técnica profesional, más específicamente de la educación media integrada. El análisis e interpretación de los datos se basó en el análisis de contenido siguiendo las proposiciones de Bardin (2011). Los resultados del estudio apuntan que una aplicación para dispositivos móviles debe ser una herramienta para socializar las experiencias de formación y del mundo del trabajo, evaluar la institución, difundir las oportunidades profesionales y las actividades que desarrolla el Campus.Este artigo tem como objetivo discutir os aspectos educativo e operacional na construção de um aplicativo para dispositivos móveis com o intuito de auxiliar o acompanhamento de Egressos do Ensino Médio Integrado. O aplicativo resulta de um produto educacional, elaborado a partir da dissertação de mestrado que investigou a experiência formativa e a inserção no mundo do trabalho de egressos dos Cursos Técnico Integrado ao Médio do Instituto Federal do Piauí - Campus Picos. Para a construção desse aplicativo realizou-se uma pesquisa qualitativa, utilizando como instrumento de coleta de dados uma entrevista semiestruturada com 53 egressos do Ensino Médio Integrado de Administração, de Informática e de Eletrotécnica que concluíram o curso no período de 2014 e 2019 no IFPI - Campus Picos. Incorporou-se, neste artigo, estudos relacionados ao desenvolvimento de mecanismos, ferramentas e instrumentos de acompanhamento de egressos da educação profissional técnica de nível médio, mais especificamente do ensino médio integrado. A análise e interpretação dos dados baseou-se na análise de conteúdo seguindo as proposições de Bardin (2011). Os resultados do estudo revelaram que um aplicativo para dispositivos móveis deveria ser uma ferramenta de socialização das experiências formativas e do mundo do trabalho, avaliação da instituição, divulgação de oportunidades profissionais e de atividades desenvolvidas pelo Campus.
