Resumo: | In this article, which has the purpose of discussing the actuation of a pedagogue of the Professional Education, in addition to discussing the possibility of this rethink their practice, from an investigative posture, had as a parameter for the discussions the understanding about its role in a school institution, as well as the activities that this should be developed to promote the improvement of educational processes. Therefore, this is a bibliographic research, in an interpretative perspective, which involved reading books, articles and documents which supported the development of writing of book report, elaboration of summaries and textual production. The results indicate that the acting of pedagogical professional must be performed beside the research, hence it allows a reflection over its practice and the solution of problems, as well as it have to permeate on the developing of continued formation for teachers on educational institutions. |

The results indicate that the acting of pedagogical professional must be performed beside the research, hence it allows a reflection over its practice and the solution of problems, as well as it have to permeate on the developing of continued formation for teachers on educational institutions.Neste artigo será discutida a atuação profissional do pedagogo na Educação Profissional, tendo como parâmetro a compreensão acerca do seu papel em uma instituição escolar, bem como as atividades que este deveria desenvolver em prol da melhoria dos processos educativos. Delineamos ainda como objetivo: debater a possibilidade desse profissional repensar sua prática a partir de uma postura investigativa. A metodologia utilizada foi a leitura de referenciais teóricos que subsidiaram a produção de fichamentos, elaboração de sínteses e produções textuais que culminaram neste trabalho.
