Resumo: The article presents data from the Scientific Initiation research on the initial training of students of the pedagogy course at the Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM), having seen his preparation for the inclusion of students with disabilities in publiceducation classes. The study was. The research was made through a qualitative approach, with dialectic method of investigation, being carried out through documentary survey, national and international (resolutions, guidelines, ordinances, laws, decrees) regarding the inclusion of students with disabilities in mainstream education classes. Then there was the verification of the Pedagogical Political Project (PPP) in the course of Pedagogy of UFAM, in order to identify the theoretical and methodological subsidies for the training of academics face the challenge of inclusion.
