The teacher literacy tutorial as an instrument for mediation in the development of the school radio project

Resumo: The article presents a research carried out in the Professional Masters in Language Teaching, which resulted in the elaboration of a media and digital literacy tutorial as an educational product to be used by teachers in the mediation process of the School Radio project. Considering that there is no reference to the development of projects using technologies such as Rádio Escolar in guiding documents for teacher training, the tutorial, in the form of a guide, seeks to contribute to the continuing education of teachers. As theoretical references for the research, the authors Kleiman (1995), Lemke (2010) and Coscarelli and Ribeiro (2007) on literacies stand out; Baltar (2009; 2012) for the operationalization of the project; Molon (1995, apud MEIER and GARCIA, 2007) on mediation; and Reali and Reyes (2013) regarding teacher training. To investigate the contribution of literacy to mediation in the project and preparation of the tutorial, meetings were held between the researcher and the collaborating teacher, and to observe the mediation process in the project, meetings took place between the teacher-mediator and students, in addition to of the application of questionnaires. After analyzing the data, it was found that the teacher's media and digital literacy is necessary to carry out mediation in the radio development process, as the collaborator did not participate in activities using technologies nor did she mediate during these activities. In this way, the elaboration of the tutorial seeks to contribute to the literacy of teachers, with a view to mediation during the realization of the school radio project.

Considerando que não há referência ao desenvolvimento de projetos com o uso de tecnologias como a Rádio Escolar em documentos orientadores da formação de professores, o tutorial, na forma de guia, busca contribuir para a formação continuada de docentes. Como referenciais teóricos da pesquisa, destacam-se os autores Kleiman (1995), Lemke (2010) e Coscarelli e Ribeiro (2007) sobre letramentos; Baltar (2009; 2012) para a operacionalização do projeto; Molon (1995, apud MEIER e GARCIA, 2007) sobre a mediação; e Reali e Reyes (2013) quanto à formação docente. Para a investigação da contribuição do letramento para a mediação no projeto e elaboração do tutorial, foram realizados encontros entre a pesquisadora e a professora-colaboradora, e para observar o processo de mediação no projeto, aconteceram encontros entre a docente-mediadora e alunas, além da aplicação de questionários. Após a análise dos dados, constatou-se que o letramento midiático e digital do professor é necessário para que realize a mediação no processo de desenvolvimento da rádio, pois a colaboradora não participou das atividades com utilização das tecnologias nem realizou a mediação durante essas atividades.
