Podcast present on digital mobile devices: a resource for mobile learning in the discipline of History

Resumo: The article has as object of study the use of the podcast as a methodological approach and technological resource in the teaching of History. The investigation is the result of a master's research, in progress, carried out in the Education, Technology and Society research group, of the Professional Master's Degree in Education and New Technologies of the Centro Universitário Internacional Uninter. It assumes the concept of mediation, by Vygotsky (1999, 1998, 1991), and understands the teaching action as a mediator of teaching and learning and technological resources as auxiliaries in the process. The research seeks to problematize the use of the podcast as a methodological approach and digital technological resource in the teaching of History. It aims to understand the potential and methodological and technological contributions of the podcast for the teaching of History with the study of the Industrial Revolution content. Empirical data collection took place through an experiment carried out during History classes with a group of students from the 2nd year of high school at a state public school in the city of Curitiba - PR. The students, using a cell phone, recorded audios about the content studied. The initial evidence from the research indicates the importance of the methodology and the technological resource in the students' learning process, and shows that there is an intrinsic relationship between the technological resource used, the teaching methodology adopted and the teacher's mediation.

Toma como pressuposto o conceito de mediação, de Vygotsky (1999, 1998, 1991), e compreende a ação docente como mediadora do ensino e da aprendizagem e os recursos tecnológicos como auxiliares no processo. A pesquisa busca problematizar o uso do podcast como encaminhamento metodológico e recurso tecnológico digital no ensino de História. Tem por objetivo compreender as potencialidades e contribuições metodológicas e tecnológicas do podcast para o ensino de História com o estudo do conteúdo Revolução Industrial. A coleta de dados empíricos ocorreu por meio de um experimento realizado durante as aulas de História com uma turma de alunos do 2º ano do ensino médio de um colégio da rede pública estadual na cidade de Curitiba - PR. Os alunos, utilizando um aparelho celular, gravaram áudios a respeito do conteúdo estudado.
