Resumo: This article aims to understand the presence and influence of technologies in everyday school life, as well as the view of the educators surveyed in relation to their use based on everyday practices and theoretical foundations related to digital technologies. The methodology employed was based on the theoretical-methodological perspectives of everyday research and the principles of exploratory research using open-ended interviews as a device. The study sample included four elementary school teachers from a public school located on the outskirts of Vitória da Conquista, Bahia. The results of the study show that the main difficulties in using digital technologies in education are based on two fundamental pillars: inadequate teacher training and precarious infrastructure. In addition, the influence of the consequences of the covid-19 pandemic on teachers' perceptions and their educational practices is notable, highlighting the challenges faced. In addition, the study points to the need for an innovative approach, which differs from what is usually proposed for contemporary education, often focusing excessively on creating products and stimulating consumption, to the detriment of the real needs of public schools.

Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Amazonas2024-02-16info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionAvaliado pelos paresapplication/pdftext/xmlhttps://sistemascmc.ifam.edu.br/educitec/index.php/educitec/article/view/226210.31417/educitec.v10.2262Educitec - Journal of Studies and Research on Technological Teaching ; Vol. 10 No. jan./dez.
