Resumo: | In this article, we present an analysis of academic productions about aspects related to the process of constituting the knowledge necessary for the exercise of teaching in Professional, Scientific and Technological Education. The research, of a bibliographic nature and with a qualitative approach, was carried out through the productions available in the databases of ANPEd, CAPES and repositories of theses and dissertations of Higher Education Institutions in the state of Santa Catarina that have Postgraduate Programs in Education in the stricto sensu modality - from 2011 to 2016. The research, in addition to surveying the state of knowledge about teaching in Vocational Education, brought elements to think about the continuing education of these professionals, reiterating, as the analysis pointed out, the coexistence of multiple knowledges |

A pesquisa, de cunho bibliográfico e de abordagem qualitativa, foi realizada por meio das produções disponíveis nos bancos de dados da ANPEd, CAPES e repositórios de teses e dissertações das Instituições de Ensino Superior do estado de Santa Catarina que possuem Programas de Pós-Graduação em Educação na modalidade stricto sensu – no período de 2011 a 2016.
