Resumo: Internationalization plays a fundamental role in the exchange of experiences, knowledge, technologies and the multicultural vision. CEFET/RJ has a long history of internationalization actions, and this research aimed to verify the projects carried out, through documentary and bibliographic research. Students were interviewed in order to record the memory of their experiences, as well as managers who worked in the institution's International Office, in order to complement the data published to date. It is intended, with the dissemination of these results, to sensitize the academic community to the importance of internationalization projects, for the secondary integrated students be graduated for the work and life.

O CEFET/RJ tem uma longa trajetória em ações de internacionalização, e esta pesquisa teve como objetivo verificar os projetos realizados, por meio de pesquisa documental e bibliográfica. Foram entrevistados estudantes, a fim de registrar a memória das experiências vividas, assim como gestores que atuaram na Assessoria de Convênios e Relações Internacionais da instituição, visando complementar os dados publicados até o presente.
