Resumo: This article aims to analyze the working time of teachers of professional and technological education, highlighting those not counted in the formal records, addressing a brief analysis about working times, their official records and the difficulty of demarcation of boundaries between working and non-work times. A qualitative approach was used through a case study of the Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de Mato Grosso – IFMT/Campus Cuiabá Cel. Octayde Jorge da Silva, through electronic questionnaire and semi-structured interviews with teachers of the institution. It was verified the existence of working times are not counted in their journeys, and are often intertwined with other temporalities.

It was verified the existence of working times are not counted in their journeys, and are often intertwined with other temporalities.  Este artigo visa a análise do tempo de trabalho dos docentes da educação profissional e tecnológica, destacando aqueles não contabilizados nos registros formais, abordando uma breve análise sobre os tempos de trabalho, seus registros oficiais e a dificuldade de demarcação de fronteiras entre tempos de trabalho e de não trabalho. Utilizou-se uma abordagem qualitativa, através de um estudo de caso do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de Mato Grosso – IFMT/Campus Cuiabá Cel. Octayde Jorge da Silva, através de questionário eletrônico e entrevistas semiestruturadas com professores da instituição.
