Resumo: | Student evasion and retention are recurrent themes in educational research. They are phenomena that forge inequalities, disregard youths, interrupting dreams, making realities invisible. This article presents a proposition of a pedagogical interventional action based on the elaboration of life projects as a strategy for reducing both evasion and retention in Integrated High School (EMI, acronym in Portuguese). The action was based on the guidelines of the National Common Curricular Base and on the understanding of evasion and retention in a complex manner, and that it is intensified by the condition of socioeconomic vulnerability. A workshop is presented that integrates a didactic sequence and that aims to establish bonds of friendship and fraternity between classmates. It is understood that this is a possibility of action to minimize school evasion and retention, but that it needs to be coordinated with others, in an interdisciplinary way. |
