“Bridge Hercílio Luz: heart of our history”: Written narratives of students from a technical course in Tourism Guide from readings and listening of a popular song

Resumo: The article presents the theoretical and methodological framework in the appropriation of a "traditional popular song" of the State of Santa Catarina as historical source in the teaching of adult learners of History of Santa Catarina, in a course in Tourism at the Instituto Federal de Santa Catarina, campus Florianópolis Continente (2012-2013). The approach was defined in three research and teaching stages: writing proto-narratives of the song; pedagogical intervention of the teacher researcher, and writing historical narratives of the song. Results support the study hypothesis: the writing of historical narratives of songs can foster historical awareness, and the developmentof the students' cultural identity in vocational and technological education.

Tal percurso foi delimitado em três etapas de pesquisa e ensino: escritura de protonarrativas da canção; intervenção pedagógica do professor pesquisador; e escritura de narrativas históricas da canção.
