Resumo: This text aims to discuss the effects of the cultural logic of late capitalism in the field of Design, both on its professional and educational aspects - on the inception and production of projects, regarding questions that guide the fragmented subject, also owner of fragmented visions, inserted in the logic of the society of the spectacle, of image strength, which produce and proceed to the world of culture, art, technique, and human imagination. This article aims to emphasize the formation process of the designer, amidst the power of merchandising, and as a symbolic producer of product value, immersed in the characteristic fragmentation of the post-modern experience.
