Management instruments applied to the processes of integration between teaching, research and extension in vocational training

Resumo: This article presents an experience report applied at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Pará (IFPA) Campus Abaetetuba, and it aims to present a proposal for management instruments with a view to improving results in teaching, research, extension and innovation in vocational training. The study has a qualitative approach, within the scope of a case study and action research, during the period from 2013 to 2018, and a documentary and bibliographic research were used to achieve the results. By analyzing the reality of professional education at the IFPA Campus Abaetetuba, it was possible to propose four management instruments, which were incorporated into the organizational structure of the Campus through the approval of resolution number 267/2018 by the Superior Council of the IFPA. They are: I - Forum Permanent Integration (Working Groups – GTs, centers, areas of knowledge and technological axes); II - Environments of Integrated Practices - APIs; III - Office of Community Practices – EPCs, and IV - Junior Center for Innovation and Scientific Development - NIDCJ. Therefore, it was possible to conclude that the four management instruments constituted important actions for the construction of an institutional identity within the scope of the IFPA Campus Abaetetuba, as well as having the potential for (re)application in other units of the federal network.

El estudio tiene un enfoque cualitativo, en el marco de un estudio de caso e investigación acción, durante el período de 2013 a 2018, y se utilizó investigación documental y bibliográfica para alcanzar los resultados. Al analizar la realidad de la educación profesional en el IFPA Campus Abaetetuba, fue posible proponer cuatro instrumentos de gestión, siendo incorporados a la estructura organizativa del campus, a través de la aprobación de la resolución nº 267/2018, por el Consejo Superior del IFPA, que son: I - Foro de Integración Permanente (Grupos de Trabajo – GT, centros, áreas de conocimiento y ejes tecnológicos); II - Ambientes de Prácticas Integradas - APIs; III - Oficina de Prácticas Comunitarias - EPCs y IV - Centro Junior de Innovación y Desarrollo Científico - NIDCJ. Por lo tanto, fue posible concluir que los cuatro instrumentos de gestión constituyeron acciones importantes para la construcción de una identidad institucional en el ámbito del IFPA Campus Abaetetuba, además de tener potencial de (re)aplicación en otras unidades de la red federal.O presente artigo traz um relato de experiência aplicado no Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Pará (IFPA) Campus Abaetetuba, e tem como objetivo apresentar proposta de instrumentos de gestão com vistas a melhorar os resultados no ensino, pesquisa, extensão e inovação na formação profissional. O estudo possui abordagem qualitativa, no escopo de um estudo de caso e pesquisa-ação, durante o período de 2013 a 2018, e foram utilizadas as pesquisas documental e bibliográfica para a consecução dos resultados. Ao analisar a realidade da educação profissional do IFPA Campus Abaetetuba, foi possível propor quatro instrumentos de gestão, sendo incorporados na estrutura organizacional do Campus, por meio da aprovação da resolução n.º 267/2018, pelo Conselho Superior do IFPA, são eles: I - Fórum Permanente de Integração (Grupos de Trabalhos – GTs, centros, áreas de conhecimento e eixos tecnológicos); II - Ambientes de Práticas Integradas - APIs; III - Escritório de Práticas Comunitárias - EPCs e IV - Núcleo de Inovação e Desenvolvimento Científico Júnior - NIDCJ.
