The role of Universities: initiatives in times of pandemic and the performance of CAJUFF Macaé

Resumo: The present work is dedicated to the study of the role of universities through initiatives developed by institutions located in the city of Macaé that contribute to society, focusing on services and activities aimed at the Covid-19 pandemic period and, more specifically, the role of the CAJUFF Macaé. It is possible to identify a strong commitment from universities located in Macaé, linked to the mandatory curricular internship, research projects and extension projects, especially during the pandemic period. Contact with universities was required, as well as access to the official portals and documents of the agencies involved. Thus, it was necessary to adapt the activities in order to mitigate the impacts of the pandemic, using its human and intellectual resources. In this sense, CAJUFF Macaé's performance in the advisory aspect stands out, providing remote legal assistance regarding government emergency benefits, with great demand from the population. The thematic choice seeks to enhance the activities carried out by universities through a more in-depth analysis of CAJUFF Macaé, as well as the importance of the university itself, considering its relevant role in society.

Es posible identificar un fuerte compromiso de las universidades ubicadas en Macaé, vinculado a la pasantía curricular obligatoria, proyectos de investigación y proyectos de extensión, especialmente durante el período de la pandemia. Se requería el contacto con las universidades, así como el acceso a los portales y documentos oficiales de los organismos involucrados. Por lo tanto, fue necesario adaptar las actividades para mitigar los impactos de la pandemia, utilizando sus recursos humanos e intelectuales. En este sentido, se destaca el desempeño de CAJUFF Macaé en el aspecto consultivo, brindando asistencia legal remota con respecto a los beneficios de emergencia del gobierno, con una gran demanda de la población. La elección temática busca mejorar las actividades que realizan las universidades a través de un análisis más profundo de CAJUFF Macaé, así como la importancia de la propia universidad, teniendo en cuenta su papel relevante en la sociedad.O presente trabalho se dedica ao estudo do papel das Universidades através das iniciativas desenvolvidas pelas instituições localizadas no município de Macaé que contribuem para a sociedade, com enfoque nos serviços e atividades voltados ao período de pandemia de Covid-19 e, mais especificamente, a atuação do CAJUFF Macaé. É possível identificar um forte empenho das Universidades situadas em Macaé, vinculadas ao estágio curricular obrigatório, projetos de pesquisa e projetos de extensão, especialmente no período de pandemia. Foi necessário o contato com as universidades, bem como o acesso aos portais e documentos oficiais dos órgãos envolvidos. Assim, observou-se a necessidade de adequação das atividades no intuito de amenizar os impactos da pandemia, utilizando seus recursos humanos e intelectuais. Nesse sentido, destaca-se a atuação do CAJUFF Macaé no aspecto consultivo, disponibilizando atendimento jurídico gratuito remoto relativamente aos benefícios emergenciais governamentais, com grande procura por parte da população.
