Resumo: | The development model used by society has amplified the use of natural resources, and as consequence of this disproportionate use, there is environmental impact. Therefore, one of the solutions to soften that process effects, is the efficient use of that resources. So, the search for sustainability reached the branch of civil construction, consequently setting goals for energy-efficiency. This work has as objective to evaluate the energy-efficiency of an edification at Fluminense Federal Institute Campus Campos Guarus. Two main points are addressed: air conditioning and lighting, since they're the biggest consumers on electric energy in a construction. This document uses methodologies provided in technical standard to calculate thermal load and technical lighting study. This way, solutions to improve energy-efficiency are listed, along with alternatives for optimization of consumption. Finally, these proposals are evaluated by the technical and financial viability. It’s noticed the efficiency of LED (Light Emitting Diode) lamps compared to fluorescent tube lamps and oversizing of the thermal load in the building E. |

En vista de ello, una de las soluciones para amenizar los efectos de este proceso es el uso eficiente de estos recursos. Por lo tanto, la búsqueda de la sostenibilidad alcanzó la rama de la construcción civil, por consiguiente, estableciendo metas para eficiencia energética. Este trabajo tiene como objetivo evaluar la eficiencia energética de una edificación en el Instituto Federal Fluminense Campus Campos Guarus. Se abordan dos puntos principales: climatización e iluminación, ya que se trata de los mayores consumidores de energía eléctrica en una construcción. Este documento utiliza metodologías previstas en Norma Técnica para cálculo de la carga térmica y estudio luminotécnico. De esta forma, se presentan soluciones para mejorar la eficiencia energética y las alternativas para optimización del consumo. Por último, las propuestas de mejora del consumo se evalúan mediante la viabilidad técnica y financiera. Así, se puede constatar la eficiencia de las lámparas LED (Diodo Emisor de Luz) en comparación con las lámparas tubulares fluorescentes, y el sobredimensionamiento de la carga térmica en el bloque E.O modelo de desenvolvimento utilizado pela sociedade vem amplificando o uso de recursos naturais e, em consequência desse uso desproporcional, há impacto ambiental. Em vista disso, uma das soluções para amenizar os efeitos desse processo é a utilização eficiente desses recursos. Logo, a busca pela sustentabilidade alcançou o ramo da construção civil, por consequência estabelecendo metas para a eficiência energética. Este trabalho tem como objetivo avaliar a eficiência energética de uma edificação no Instituto Federal Fluminense Campus Campos Guarus. São abordados dois pontos principais: climatização e iluminação, já que se trata dos maiores consumidores de energia elétrica em uma construção. Esse documento utiliza metodologias previstas em Norma Técnica para cálculo da carga térmica e estudo luminotécnico. Dessa forma, são apresentadas soluções para melhorar a eficiência energética e as alternativas para otimização do consumo. Por fim, as propostas para melhoria no consumo são avaliadas pela viabilidade técnica e financeira.
