Resumo: The objective of this research article was to analyze the use of home lighting technology through solar panels by the inhabitants of a rural community located in the Gulf of Guayaquil. The methodology was oriented to the positivist paradigm; the type of study was descriptive, the design was non-experimental cross-sectional, the information was collected through the survey technique and the instrument was a questionnaire with closed questions. The population was made up of 20 inhabitants of the Gulf of Guayas. The sample was obtained by simple random sampling, being made up of 20 inhabitants of the Gulf of Guayas. Results: 75% are unaware of solar panels: 90% consider that their implementation would help preserve the environment; 60% would not change the technology used for the placement of solar panels due to the high cost, demonstrating ignorance of the real costs of its implementation in the home. It is concluded: the non-conventional photovoltaic solar energy sources is the low-cost lighting technology of the equipment associated with said technologies and the tax benefits, being the best option to alleviate the user's economy as a very fast return on investment and long-term environmental care.

Sapienza Grupo Editorial2022-10-15info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://journals.sapienzaeditorial.com/index.php/SIJIS/article/view/51910.51798/sijis.v3i7.519Sapienza: International Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies; Vol. 3 No. 7 (2022): Theoretical and methodological plurality; 111-123Sapienza: International Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies; Vol. 3 Núm. 7 (2022): Pluralidad teórica y metodológica; 111-123Sapienza: International Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies; v. 3 n. 7 (2022): Pluralidade teórica e metodológica; 111-1232675-978010.51798/sijis.v3i7reponame:Sapienza (Curitiba)instname:Sapienza Grupo Editorialinstacron:SAPIENZAspahttps://journals.sapienzaeditorial.com/index.php/SIJIS/article/view/519/357Copyright (c) 2022 Byron Fernando Chere-Quiñónez, Raúl Clemente Ulloa-de Souza, Luis Jheovanny Reyna-Tenoriohttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessChere-Quiñónez, Byron Fernando Ulloa-de Souza, Raúl Clemente Reyna-Tenorio, Luis Jheovanny 2022-11-07T00:34:07Zoai:ojs2.journals.sapienzaeditorial.com:article/519Revistahttps://journals.sapienzaeditorial.com/index.php/SIJISPRIhttps://journals.sapienzaeditorial.com/index.php/SIJIS/oaieditor@sapienzaeditorial.com2675-97802675-9780opendoar:2023-01-12T16:43:03.373136Sapienza (Curitiba) - Sapienza Grupo Editorialfalse
