The affective dimension and the maternal relationship in the musical development of babies

Resumo: This work proposes a reflection on the influence of the affective relationship between the mother and the baby in the musical development during the first year of life, bringing some preliminary discussions of a doctoral research in progress. Based on historical-cultural psychology, the main objective of this research is to understand the role of human relationships in musical mediation from the relationship between mother and baby and the affective dimension involved in the baby's musical development process. The research consists of a stage of studies on affectivity, learning and development according to the theoretical perspective of Vygotsky and Wallon, involving in a later stage a case study with the execution of a music circle with mothers and babies, in order to collect complementary data to think about the functions of the social environment and affectivity in the musical development of babies. Based on the studies carried out so far, they show the influence of the affective dimension on learning and musical mediation on the affective interactions between the mother and the baby as fundamental factors in the relationship that the baby will establish with music and, therefore, in its musical constitution.

Este trabajo propone una reflexión sobre la influencia de la relación afectiva entre la madre y el bebé en el desarrollo musical durante el primer año de vida, trayendo algunas discusiones preliminares de una investigación doctoral en curso. Con base en la psicología histórico-cultural, el objetivo principal de esta investigación es comprender el papel de las relaciones humanas en la mediación musical desde la relación entre madre y bebé y la dimensión afectiva involucrada en el proceso de desarrollo musical del bebé. La investigación consta de una etapa de estudios sobre la afectividad, el aprendizaje y el desarrollo según la perspectiva teórica de Vygotsky y Wallon, involucrando en una etapa posterior un estudio de caso con la ejecución de un círculo musical con madres y bebés, con el fin de recolectar datos complementarios. reflexionar sobre las funciones del entorno social y la afectividad en el desarrollo musical de los bebés. En base a los estudios realizados hasta el momento, muestran la influencia de la dimensión afectiva en el aprendizaje y la mediación musical en las interacciones afectivas entre la madre y el bebé como factores fundamentales en la relación que el bebé establecerá con la música y, por tanto, en su constitución musical. Este trabalho propõe uma reflexão sobre a influência da relação afetiva entre a mãe e o bebê no desenvolvimento musical durante o primeiro ano de vida, trazendo algumas discussões preliminares de uma pesquisa de doutorado em andamento. Com base na psicologia histórico-cultural, o objetivo principal dessa pesquisa é compreender o papel das relações humanas na mediação musical a partir da relação entre a mãe e o bebê e a dimensão afetiva envolvida no processo de desenvolvimento musical do bebê. A pesquisa é composta por uma etapa de estudos sobre afetividade, aprendizado e desenvolvimento segundo a perspectiva teórica de Vigotski e Wallon, envolvendo em uma etapa posterior um estudo de caso com a execução de uma roda de música com mães e bebês, a fim de coletar dados complementares para pensarmos sobre as funções do meio social e a afetividade no desenvolvimento musical dos bebês. Com base nos estudos desenvolvidos até o momento mostram a influência da dimensão afetiva no aprendizado e da mediação musical nas interações afetivas entre a mãe e o bebê como um fatores fundamentais na relação que o bebê estabelecerá com a música e, logo, em sua constituição musical.
