ETHNOGRAPHIC RESEARCH BASED ON DIALOGICAL INTERACTION: POSSIBILITIES AND CHALLENGES

Resumo: The purpose of this paper is to reflect on the importance of ethnographic research, based on dialogical interaction, regarding the uniqueness, respect and richness of the encounter between researcher and interlocutor. We also discuss the challenge of going to the field and collecting data for the analysis of social phenomena. In methodological terms, this research has a qualitative character, of a basic and descriptive nature, based on the bibliographic procedure. We conclude by noting that, on the one hand, research must guard against interpretive pitfalls of common sense; on the other hand, under the dialogic dimension, it might be the possibility of building a more coherent, interactive and critical view of reality.

Também debate o desafio de ir a campo e coletar dados para a análise de fenômenos sociais. Em termos metodológicos, a pesquisa tem caráter qualitativo, de natureza básica e descritiva, a partir do procedimento bibliográfico.
