EDUCATION OF ETHNIC-RACIAL RELATIONS IN THE TEACHER EDUCATION COURSES OF THE FEDERAL INSTITUTE OF GOIANO- CAMPUS URUTAÍ

Resumo: | The initial and continuing education of teachers is fundamental in the process of developing Education for Ethnic-Racial Relations. In this sense, there is a need for qualification of education professionals so that they can develop an education that addresses ethnic-racial diversity. The objective of this research was to identify the treatment given to Education for Ethnic-Racial Relations in the initial teacher training courses of the Instituto Federal Goiano Campus Urutaí. For this, the methodology used was document analysis, and the application of questionnaires in which all the information was collected and analyzed in a qualitative-quantitative way. It was considered that the PPCs of the Undergraduate courses of the IF Goiano Campus Urutaí are concerned with meeting the legislation that determines the insertion and preparation of graduates for the Education of Ethnic-Racial Relations. However, it is observed a small number of disciplines that address the issue, in addition, it was observed a lack of knowledge of undergraduates about ERER. |

En este sentido, es necesaria la cualificación de los profesionales de la educación para que puedan desarrollar una educación que atienda a la diversidad étnico-racial. El objetivo de esta investigación fue identificar el tratamiento dado a la Educación para las Relaciones Étnico-Raciales en los cursos de formación inicial de profesores del Instituto Federal Goiano Campus Urutaí. Para ello, la metodología utilizada fue el análisis documental, y la aplicación de cuestionarios en los que se recogió y analizó toda la información en su vertiente cualitativa-cuantitativa. Se consideró que los PPCs de los cursos de Pregrado del IF Goiano Campus Urutaí se preocupan por atender la legislación que determina la inserción y preparación de graduados para la Educación de las Relaciones Étnico-Raciales. Sin embargo, se observa un número reducido de disciplinas que abordan el tema, además, se observó falta de conocimiento de los estudiantes universitarios sobre la ERER.A formação inicial e continuada de professores é fundamental no processo de desenvolvimento da Educação das Relações Étnico-Raciais. Neste sentido, há a necessidade de qualificação dos profissionais da educação para que possam desenvolver uma educação que aborde a diversidade étnico-racial. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi identificar o tratamento dado à Educação para as Relações Étnico-Raciais nos cursos de formação inicial de professores do Instituto Federal Goiano Campus Urutaí. Para tanto, a metodologia utilizada foi a análise documental e aplicação de questionários em que todas as informações foram coletadas e analisadas no aspecto quali-quantitativo. Considerou-se que os PPCs das Licenciaturas do IF Goiano Campus Urutaí preocupam-se em atender a legislação que determina a inserção e preparação dos licenciados para a Educação das Relações Étnico-Raciais.
