Teaching Digital Competence: A Systematic Literature Review

Resumo: Digital Information and Communication Technologies - TDIC, demand new training processes and the redefinition of the role of teachers for the development of their digital competences. In this regard, to investigate the concepts of digital teaching skills, as well as the existence of public policies for the training of teachers with the use of TDIC, based on other existing literature. Therefore, this work uses a Systematic Literature Review (RSL) method proposed by Kitchenham and Charters (2007). In this perspective, the research analyzed publications in the period between 2015 and 2021, in the following repositories: CAPES journals portal, CAPES theses and dissertation catalogs, Google academic and Scientific Electronic Library Online - Scielo, with the respective search string: "digital competences" AND "teacher training" AND "teachers". The results indicate that the concepts of digital competences for teachers are not developed in isolation and that there is a strong influence of international documents on this conceptual basis, mainly DigCompEdu. Also that national public policies still need to go through the real need to develop teachers' digital skills and to reflect on new didactic-pedagogical paradigms with the use of TDIC. Nesse quesito, este trabalho se direciona a investigar os conceitos das competências digitais docentes, bem como a existência de políticas públicas para a formação dos professores com o uso das TDIC, a partir de outras literaturas já existentes. Para tanto, a referida pesquisa tem por método uma Revisão Sistemática da Literatura (RSL), proposto por Kitchenham e Charters (2007). Nessa perspectiva, foram analisadas publicações no período entre 2015 a 2021, nos seguintes repositórios: portal de periódicos da CAPES, catálogos de teses e dissertações da CAPES, Google acadêmico e Scientific Electronic Library Online – Scielo, com a respectiva string de busca: “competências digitais” AND “formação de professores” AND “docentes”. Os resultados apontam que os conceitos de competências digitais docentes não se desenvolvem isoladamente e que há uma forte influência dos documentos internacionais nessa base conceitual, principalmente do DigCompEdu. Destarte, verificou-se também que as políticas públicas nacionais ainda necessitam transitar pela real necessidade de desenvolvimento de competências digitais de professores e da reflexão sobre novos paradigmas didático-pedagógicos com o uso das TDIC.
