Resumo: | Abstract: This article aims to discuss about the interrelation of theory with activity as educational work regarding the development of humane personality. The investigation is qualitative in Education field and is characterized in the form of Case Study. The research was developed from a questionnaire and interview together with seven teachers who teach in Basic Education. Data was organized by Discursive Textual Analysis (DTA) and problematized based on the theoretical framework of Historical-Cultural Psychology and Historical-Critical Pedagogy. In the analysis two categories were highlighted: (i) teaching and (ii) study. The results show that educational work is determinant in the constitution of humane personality. Teaching and study activities are elements of educational work that make it possible to form constitutive marks in subjects, favoring learning of scientific scholar knowledge and stimulating the development of human psychic abilities and personality transformation of students and teachers. Educational Work.Resumo: O presente artigo teve por objetivo discutir sobre a inter-relação da teoria da atividade com o trabalho educativo no desenvolvimento da personalidade humana. A investigação é de natureza qualitativa na área da Educação e está caracterizada na modalidade de Estudo de Caso. A pesquisa desenvolveu-se a partir de questionário e entrevista junto a sete professores que lecionam na Educação Básica. Os dados foram organizados pela Análise Textual Discursiva (ATD) e problematizados com apoio no referencial teórico da Psicologia Histórico-Cultural e da Pedagogia Histórico-Crítica. Na análise foram destacadas duas categorias: o (i) ensino e o (ii) estudo. Os resultados mostram que o trabalho educativo é determinante na constituição da personalidade humana. As atividades de ensino e de estudo são elementos do trabalho educativo que possibilitam formar marcas constitutivas nos sujeitos, favorecendo a aprendizagem de conhecimentos científico-escolares e estimulando o desenvolvimento das capacidades psíquicas humanas e a transformação da personalidade de alunos e professores Palavras-chave: Aprendizagem.
